1. Overview

Bac Viet Commercial & Shiptechnical Co., Ltd. (Bacviet Shiprepair) issues this official public warning regarding a fraudulent non-payment by Kaizen Ship Management Co., Ltd., following a completed and signed onboard service in Vietnam.

The case concerns the vessel MV SFYC ARAYA, under Kaizen’s management.
Despite full completion, documentation, and repeated reminders, Kaizen Ship Management has intentionally refused to make payment, demonstrating dishonest and fraudulent business conduct.

2. Chronology of Events

  • 19 September 2025 – Kaizen Ship Management Co., Ltd. issued Purchase Order No. ARY-D-SE-250145 to Bacviet Shiprepair for:

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for Hatch Covers of MV SFYC ARAYA at Cam Pha Anchorage, Vietnam.

  • 20 September 2025 – Bacviet’s technical team completed the job successfully.
The Worklist / Delivery Order was signed and stamped by the Ship Master, confirming that all work had been performed and accepted onboard.

  • 22 September 2025 – Bacviet sent the Final Invoice and complete documentation package to Kaizen, including:

    • Delivery Order (signed by Master)

    • Photo Report (before/after inspection)

    • Final Invoice

    • Company Bank Account Details

    • Copy of Purchase Order

Kaizen’s representative acknowledged receipt and requested verification of bank information. Bacviet immediately confirmed and reconfirmed all details by email.

3. Repeated Reminders and Avoidance

After submission, no payment was made.
Bacviet sent three formal reminders as follows:

Date Description
22 October 2025 1st Reminder – Payment overdue
29 October 2025 2nd Reminder – Still no response
10 November 2025 3rd Reminder – Final follow-up before escalation

In addition, Bacviet repeatedly contacted Kaizen’s Purchasing Executive via WhatsApp, who initially replied with short messages such as:

“Checking with accounting.”
Later, Bacviet was directed to contact the Accounts Department, which promised that payment would be made “within this week.”
However, no transfer, no reply, and no further communication were ever received afterward.

4. Final Warning and Fraudulent Intent

On 12 November 2025, Bacviet sent a Final Reminder Email to Kaizen Ship Management Co., Ltd. The letter clearly stated:

“If no payment is received within 5 working days from the date of sending this email, we will have no choice but to initiate complaint procedures through relevant legal channels in Vietnam and to spread negative information about your Company on the Internet to protect our company’s rights and interests.

As of this date, Kaizen Ship Management Co., Ltd. has not made any payment, nor provided any official response.

Given the full evidence — signed acceptance by the vessel’s Master, multiple written confirmations, and continued silence — Bacviet concludes that Kaizen Ship Management has acted with fraudulent intent to obtain services without paying.

This is an act of international commercial fraud, damaging the trust and integrity of maritime cooperation.
