UNDERWATER SHIP REPAIR IN VIETNAM

The Vessel suffered grounding on 5th July 2021 and taking in water in WTB 4 and 5 (P&S), grounding occurred when the vessel was at Sea enroute from Cai Mep terminal of Vietnam to Singapore.
 We Bacviet Commercial and Shiptechnical Company with a good partner diving company in Vung Tau which is approved by Class LR/ NKK have carried out an Underwater repair damages at WBT N04 and N05 Port side for this vessel.
Firstly, we had arranged an Underwater Survey on all the ship hull, propeller, rudder... etc, the job has been carried out with supervision of Class Surveyor LR/ NKK and Insurance Inspector .
Second, Issued Temporary repair Procedure by Welding double plates at the damage of hull plates.
Due to this vessel is very larger container vessel type that why the vessel has arrange at outer anchorage of Vung tau, Vietnam
By the effort of the diving team, good cooperation of the Class Surveyors, local agents and Related-Parties, and with the skilled underwater welders who approved by IAC Class and many experiences for underwater works, we have arranged to carried out temporary repair with fast and smoothly.
