CLASS NK CERTIFICATE OF WELDER'S QUALIFICATION - STEEL PLATE

Skilled welders has been passed Welder qualified as specified in accordance thi the requirements set forth in Chapter 5, Part M of Rule for the Survey and Construction of Steel Ships of Nippon Kaiji Kyokai ( Class NK).

 Range qualification of Welders:

Welding process: SW ( Semi - Automatic Welding) with Welding consumable shielding Gas CO2.

Product: Steel plates ( P) with range of thickness from 9.0mm to 36.0mm. grades of metals are coverred for KA, KB, KA 32 and KA 36.

Type of Welded Joint: Butt Weld (B). 

Base Metal: Carbon Steel ( CS).

Welding Position: Flat ( PA), Horrizontal Vertical ( PB), Horizontal ( PC), Horizontal Overhead ( PD), Overhead ( PE) and Vertical Up (PE)

Details of Weding Joints: Single side butt weld with backing ( ss mb).
