REPLACEMENT ANCHOR IN CAM PHA VIETNAM

JIU HUA HAI (IMO: 9466520) is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 2008 and is sailing under the flag of China, the STBD anchor found broken and which needs replacement by the Anchor spare on board.

How to replacement Anchor?
Before the works carry out on board, Bacviet Shiprepair Company has issued "Procedure of replacement Anchor" to submit a repair proposal for Class approval:
Procedure for replacement STBD Anchor:
- Issue permit job and boarding pass from Port Authority and immigration Departments.
- Test Covid-19 for all manpower’s before the works are starting on board.
- Use a big boat to reach the vessel alongside.
- Pull down the Anchor to the boat, removing old D Shackle.
- Use ship Crane to move old anchor from service boat to main deck.
- Use Ship Crane to move the spare anchor to the service boat.
- Installing spare anchor to the chains by spare D Shackle.
- Sealed the pin holes of the D Shackle by lead material.
- Operation test after installed spare anchor.
